Traditional Art / Printing / Lino

A Lino-cut print done last year for art class. This was my first real encounter with printmaking, and I enjoyed it a lot. I have various versions at different clarity levels and colors, but this one was the best overall, if not the most colorful.
The image of the bird and the girl is my personal metaphor for when an emotion feels too big to be contained.

Thanks! We're doing lino cuts again this year, but with registration so we can get multiple layers of color. I'm pretty excited about it!

That's awesome! I wish I could do stuff like that at my school, but we're poorly funded and the arts aren't really supported. Bleh. So jealous of you right now, I love doing prints.
